Basics
As well as the more elaborate exhibition media, it is also possible to have large-format posters (DIN A3 - DIN A1) produced by digital printing in short runs. This is achieved by adapting the familiar media types.
Preparation
The specifications defined for the original medium apply (advertisement or roll-up layout). The layout is composed in DIN A4 format and then scaled up to the desired size.
Poster versions with pre-defined layout
Adaptation of existing advertisements
This involves only producing one of the original advertisements in an enlarged format. The defined combination of motif, text and picture caption is not changed in any way. Both universal Group image advertisements and ads tailored for various markets or subject fields may be used (in the market concerned).

Poster versions with variable layout
Narrative
Here motifs from the image pool or recently researched narrative photos may be used. Text within the balloon should be limited to at most three hierarchies (an excessive amount of continuous text should be avoided due to the viewing distance), a matching caption must be provided.
The layout versions
- Adaptation of the advertisement layout: Full-format picture, claim at top right, logo at bottom right, optional internet address at bottom left

- Adaptation of the roll-up layout: White strip at top, logo at top left, claim at top right, optional internet address at bottom left

Plain coloured area with balloon
A text message without motif can be posted in the version with a plain, single-coloured background. The coloured area may be HR blue, HR cyan or HR warm grey (full colour or 30% gradation). The balloon size correlates with the dimensions of the advertisement. Text within the balloon should be limited to at most three hierarchies (an excessive amount of continuous text should be avoided due to the viewing distance).
